there!, Hello

"I am C. C. Blake!" Writing Under Pseudonym

I have two published alter egos. They all do better than me. Want to meet one? Its name is C. C. Blake.

The name started as a kind of placeholder for a site I wasn’t too keen to be associated with. The place was a low paying pulp fiction market called Man's Story 2, and its webpage featured links to embarrassing sites. The kinds of things I didn’t want my Mom to know I wrote for. Not that she would really care, now that I think about it.

The pseudonym ultimately exceeded my expectations, and now has several works available as eBooks (with more on the way). I wrote all of these. Though I was hesitant before, now I’m happy to announce “I am C. C. Blake!” This has developed into the brand name for my thrilling adventure stories. Sometimes supernatural, sometimes contemporary, sometimes historical, the stories are all action-packed.

Over the next few days, I’ll share the story behind this name and the ups and downs of having quasi-MPD in addition to a writing career.

Please consider buying one of my pseudonym's books:
