EDIT: Author of humorous suspense and horror fiction Jeff Strand (jeffstrand) wins the no-prize for discovering the falsehood above! The stories are indeed only 140 characters long. Good job, Jeff!
Your prize? huh. Well, none!
Except for this:
Jeff's exceedingly suspenseful novel Pressure is being released by Leisure Books at the end of May/beginning of June. Now I have been a fan of Strand's fiction since the first Andrew Mayhem thriller (with the lovable title: Graverobbers Wanted (No Experience Necessary)). Pressure is something of a departure from the Mayhem books, less of the outwardly yuck-yuck funny horror. Pressure is a page turner in the best sense. A lovable protagonist, a monstrous antagonist, and a plotline that is not content to stick to a single few days, but follows their rivalry over the coarse of years. Surprises and darkness and wit to spare. Pressure is a stylish thriller that I cannot say enough good things about.
